Open 24 hours a day between 13 May and 17 October 2021
Hittaut is a popular form of physical activity where, with the help of a map, you look for checkpoints in Växjö city's everyday nature. With the help of the map, you will find your way to the checkpoint that awaits both in the city center and in scenic forest terrain.
For 13 years, HittaUt has attracted thousands of participants to go out and look for checkpoints in Sweden. Bring the map on the walk, bike ride or jogging round and you will activate both body and brain and maybe discover some new favorite places. At each checkpoint there is a code that you can register in your account, with a chance to win great prizes. Everyone can participate based on their conditions, around the clock during the season. HittaUt is also available as a wellness project for companies and schools.
The map is available both in paper form and digitally and is produced by Växjö Orienteering Club. If you did not receive the paper map in the mailbox, you can pick it up at several delivery points or print it in smaller parts. A total of 30,000 maps have been printed in Växjö. In the HittaUt app and on the website, you have access to maps of all locations in Sweden, if you want to discover checkpoints in 88 other locations throughout the country. If you want to make the excursions more digital, take the help of the mobile's GPS marker on the map to see where you are going. It can be activated on both the website and in HittaUt's app, which is available for iOS and Android.
The Hittaut Växjö map is available at the following drop-off points from 13 May; The Outnorth store, Wellness Studio Växjö, ICA Kvantum Norremark, Vokalen, Växjö Tourist Information, Toftastrand Hotell & Konditori, Evedals Camping, Scandic Växjö, Quality Hotel Royal Corner.
