Camper holiday by the quayside

There are 59 pitches for campers and motorhomes in Mariestad outer harbor, of which 36 spots have access to electricity.

The pitches are on an asphalted surface with painted squares and all have a view of Lake Vänern. Payment takes place via a vending machine or the Parkster app where you can use the app, SMS or voicemail.

Please note that electricity is not available to all pitches. Before payment, find your pitch and make sure electricity is available for your camper.

The fee is paid in a parking machine. Upon payment, you will receive a code for the facilities on your ticket.
Payment can also be made with the Parkster app, in the app, via SMS or by voicemail. The code to the facilities is then received via an SMS or under the "Tickets" tab in the app.

Facilities
Shower, toilet, grey water disposal and toilet waste disposal for fixed tanks. Fresh water.

Note! During the winter, the water at the parking area is turned off to prevent the hoses from freezing. Water can then be collected at the back of the harbor office (the red building next to the service house).

Extra pitches during summer

During the period 1 June to 15 September, there are an additional 31 pitches for campers/motorhomes north of the service building in the outer harbour. All of them have electricity. The fee is paid in the ticket machine at the main parking and the same facilities can be used.

Mariestad's harbor
The pitches are located in the part of Mariestad's marina known as the outer harbor, a few hundred meters from the city center and near the guest harbor, which in the summer is a lively area and a gathering place for both Mariestad residents and tourists. Here you'll find restaurants and smaller stalls selling ice cream, coffee and food. There is also a playground nearby.

Next to the pitches there is a pétanque courts, beach volleyball courts, outdoor gym and adventure mini golf. There are generous grass areas and a pleasant playground. Not far from the pitch is Karlsholme Folkets Park with various events such as vintage vehicle rallies, live music and dance galas.

From the pitch you have a short walking distance to the center with shops and more cafes and restaurants. Feel free to take the road through Gamla Stan and past the cathedral.
