Promenadslinga Ånge Östra busshållsplats

Go from the riding school towards Ånge, turn right immediately on the other side of the bridge and you will end up on the gravel road that takes you towards the heating plant and IP. From Idrottsplatsen you can walk on the road and path down towards Lillströmmen. For a shorter walk that is suitable for walkers and strollers, follow the footpath that runs north of the IP. It continues away to a narrow gravel road. Here you turn right and follow the gravel road down to the heating plant. Then turn right again onto the road that takes you back to IP. This round will be 1.5 kilometers and there are several benches to rest on. To go a little further down to Lillströmmen and back, first follow the same footpath and gravel road, but just before the heating plant, turn left onto a path. Here it is a snowmobile trail in winter and therefore marked with red crosses. This path comes out at Lillströmmen near the dam. To get a view of the water, you can keep left and follow the gravel road to the pond. Here you can walk up on the earth bank itself. There is a narrow path up on the bank with a view of the Lillströmmen reservoir. Follow the road along the water until it goes down and continues into the forest. Just before the end of the road, a path turns down between the trees to the right. Follow this pleasant but short path until it comes out on the road. Then you turn right towards the heating plant and then left towards the IP and you are back where you started. A 3 kilometer round trip in total. If you want to go even further, from the dam, instead of going up the bank and back, you can follow the road further around the dam. You continue to follow this gravel road over Forsön and out on Södra Borgsjövägen.
