Omschrijving
The reserve is a so-called flysch mountain at the mountain edge. The southern part of the mountain is mainly made up of quartzite sandstone, which has caused large landslides through cracks. The landslides extend far down the slope.

The reserve is located about 50 km north of Vilhelmina on the southern slope of Skikkisjöberget, on the border with Storuman municipality.
