Hålvattsmyrorna

The area is characterized by open or sparsely pine-covered wetlands: Hålvattsmyrorna in the central and southern part of the area and Västra Storänget in the northern part. Just outside the reserve, near the outlet of Hålvattsbäcken from Furunässjön, there are mill remains consisting of two ponds and a mill building with well-preserved interior. Old paths cross the wettest marshes.
