Munkforsen

Munkforsen is the river Klarälven's highest natural waterfall situated in beautiful Bruksparken (Mill park) in Munkfors.

With a vertical drop of 17 meters, Munkforsen is Klarälvens highest natural waterfall.
On specific days during the summer you can see, from just a few meters away, when the water is released.
The release of water is regulated so that the water level to the power plant is not affected.

Klarälven is the longest river in Sweden, approximately 400 kilometers, of which 300 kilometers runs in Sweden and mostly in Värmland.
