Intressepunkt Göpommen

Göpommen or Göpugnen as the map sais, was earlier a view point, but as the pines have grown since then you cannot see far in this phase of growth. However the surrounding terrain is pleasant as you climb to the rocky area with pines around you.

There is no sitting bench, but with a seat cover the rock next to the guest book box will do nicely.

"Göpa" is the local word for lynx and "ommen" means oven. Maybe there were once one or a few cats that caught some sun on the rocks to induce the name?
