Øfsti Mellom is a farm in Stjørdal run by husband and wife, Irma and Tor Arild Øfsti. We are working to make use of the opportunities that exist right where we live — in "our little piece of Norway"!
Øfsti is first and foremost a farm in full operation that focuses on milk, meat and grain production. But from the middle of May to the middle of October we also offer accommodation the buildings on the farmyard. With us you can experience a rural atmosphere with close proximity to farm animals — and despite the short distance to Trondheim Airport (approx. 15 min) - it is to the sound from the grazing animals, chickens and a Peacock (and the milk machine in the barn!) that you wake up.
Groups of pilgrims may book accommodation in ready made beds, with or without a simple farmhouse breakfast. The breakfast is offered with fresh milk and fresh eggs from the chickens in the yard. It is possible to make your own packed lunch.
If you want (and the weather is clear), we offer an experience that combines "cowspotting" w/binoculars, and a well-earned foot bath behind the barn!
