Strandnära runda på Östra Elfvik

Varied and beachy round walk on the easternmost Elfvikslandet. The walk goes through an orchard and an older avenue at Elfvik's farm and an old pine forest at Elfvik's cape. On Elfviksudde there is also a small eco-temple with a nice view of Höggarnsfjärden. Heading north, the walk follows a sandy beach and across open pastures, grazed forest and a beautiful cowslip meadow, which until recently was beaten and fought over. The hike goes on everything from small roads and groomed paths to nature trails and over steppes, pastures and lawns. From the gravel road at Östervik to Duvholmsvägen, the path is indistinct, but you can see the stile that goes into the open pasture and then walk across the pasture. Depending on the weather and season, the walk can provide an opportunity for spontaneous swimming, fruit picking, or berry and mushroom picking. There are seats and barbecue areas along the way.

Toilets are available at Elfviks Gård. The farm also has a café, shop and restaurant. Much is open during the weekends.
