Södra Törnskogens naturreservat

Törnskogen is a hilly forest area with varying soil conditions and a dramatic landscape with steep slopes down to Lake Norrviken. The natural environment is dominated by coniferous forests and wetlands, but there are also some open farmlands. Södra Törnskogen nature reserve is almost 500 hectares in size and is located in the north-eastern part of Sollentuna. It borders around 200 hectares of forest in Upplands Väsby, Norra Törnskogen. The inner parts of Törnskogen have a sparser system of paths that give a sense of wilderness.
