Mörtsjöskogen Nature Reserve is an area of natural forest surrounding Lake Mörtsjön in the southern part of Norrtälje Municipality, about 7 kilometers southwest of Riala Church.

The reserve can be accessed on foot via a service road that leads into the area from the east.

To protect the Mörtsjöskogen Nature Reserve, there are rules you must follow.

Within the reserve, it is forbidden to:

• destroy or damage rock, soil, or stone by drilling, chiseling, blasting, carving, digging, painting, or similar activities
• break branches, fell, or otherwise damage living or dead trees and shrubs, or damage other vegetation by digging up plants such as shrubs, herbs, mosses, or lichens, or by removing wood-inhabiting fungi
• deliberately disturb wildlife (for example by climbing nesting trees, or capturing or killing mammals, birds, reptiles, or amphibians)
• collect invertebrate animals
• bring an unleashed dog
• light fires except in designated areas
• put up boards, placards, posters, signs, or similar installations
• drive motorized vehicles off-road, both on snow-covered ground and on bare ground
