The reserve has scattered infestations of spruce bark beetle. This means that there are a lot of dead standing spruces in the forest and along the paths.
The trees can fall suddenly and without warning. Keep an eye out and avoid visiting the reserve when it is windy!
Omschrijving
From the north-western entrance, you can take a hiking trail that leads you around the little lake of Lövfjärden and through fields of orchids. There is an informational sign at the parking lot.

Met de auto: Rijd van Älmsta noord naar Bergby; vanaf daar is het getekend naar het reservaat.
Collectief vervoer: Häverö-Bergby is verre van openbare communicatie. De dichtstbijzijnde bushalte is Bergby trading, ongeveer 5 km van het reservaat.

In order to protect the Häverö-Bergby nature reserve, please respect the following rules.
Within the reserve, it is forbidden to:
- drill, cut, blast, carve, dig, paint or in any other way damage rock, soil or stone,
- fell or damage living or dead trees and bushes,
- damage vegetation by digging up or by picking plants or by removing mosses, lichens or fungi living on wood,
- camp for more than two consecutive nights in the same place,
- park a motorhome, caravan or other camping vehicle,
- put up signs, posters or similar or make inscriptions.
