• Distance: Approx. 20 km.
• Duration: From 4 hours, but we recommend making this a full-day trip. Why not take advantage of the Swedish Right of Public Access (Allemansrätten) and camp overnight? ⛺ We offer all-inclusive packages with everything you need for your overnight adventure.
• Difficulty Level: Green/Blue (Easy/Medium). Suitable for confident beginners. We recommend paddling skills corresponding to EPP Yellow (Euro Paddle Pass) .
• Starting Point / Launch Site: Eden Kajak & SUP (Smedsudden) or Pampas Kajak & SUP. Choose the location closest to you.
• Season: The route is paddleable for most of the year, provided the water is ice-free. Always dress according to the conditions and paddle with a friend for increased safety .

Logistics & Landing Points: 📍 There are many spots along the route to land or pull out your kayak. Good options include Solviksbadet and Ålstensängen.

• Evacuation: Around Kärsön, specifically on the eastern side, there are accessible spots if you need to be picked up by car.
• Drottningholm: At Drottningholm Palace, there is a good small gravel beach suitable for a landing to enjoy a meal or for pickup.

Safety & Considerations: ⚠️

• Traffic: Be aware of heavy boat traffic and boat wake (svall), especially during weekends and fine weather.
• Wind: Certain sections are exposed to the wind—always check the weather forecast.
• Cold Water: We recommend wearing a Dry Suit when paddling in cold water temperatures .
• Respect: Please respect local nature reserves and the rules of the Right of Public Access.

• Rest & Camping: The beaches mentioned above are great for lunch or swim breaks. The islands Krankholmen, Granholmen, and Tallholmen offer excellent spots for camping and lunch. The BBQ area on Fågelön (see map) is also perfect for breaks or overnight stays.

Parking & Logistics Guide 🚗🛶

Here is how to find us and where to launch if you have your own gear.

📍 Pampas Kajak & SUP

• Parking: The easiest place to park is the large guest parking lot at Pampas Marina. Please be aware that this is a paid parking zone.
• Dropping off Private Gear: If you are arriving with your own kayak or SUP, you are welcome to drive all the way down to our dock to unload. Please check in with the dock staff (bryggvärd) to get the "green light" ✅ before launching from our specific kayak dock. Once you have unloaded your gear, please move your car back to the guest parking.
• After Hours: If we are closed, you are free to use our dock for your own adventures!

📍 Eden Kajak & SUP

• Parking: The most convenient parking is found along the street Norr Mälarstrand or up on the hill at Fyrverkarbacken.
• Dropping off Private Gear: If you have your own equipment, you can drive all the way into the turnaround point (vändplanen) at Eden to drop off your kayak and gear.
• Service: Just speak to our staff on-site—they will happily keep an eye on your equipment while you drive away to park your car.

Regulations for Lovö Nature Reserve 🌲📜

This tour takes you through the beautiful Lovö Nature Reserve. To help protect this unique environment and ensure it remains pristine for everyone, specific regulations apply within the reserve.

Within the reserve, it is forbidden to:

1. dig, cut, drill or in any other way damage bedrock, soil or stone,
2. fell or damage living or dead trees or bushes,
3. damage vegetation by digging up plants,
4. bring unleashed dogs,
5. ride horses on designated hiking trails,
6. camp for more than two consecutive nights in a tent, motorhome, caravan or similar,
7. moor a boat for more than two consecutive nights at the same beach (this rule does not apply to piers and marinas),
8. put up permanent posters, signs or similar.
