Recreation and diversity at the Södra Sandby wetland
A viewing bridge, a beach for those who want to collect insects, a barbecue area and several footpaths around the ponds allow the public to enjoy the water environment south of Öståkravägen.
The ponds will improve the water quality downstream of Södra Sandby and increase the biodiversity of all species that thrive in that environment, such as birds, fish, amphibians and aquatic insects. It is also an area for recreation.
