Omschrijving
Surrounded by young growth forest and contorta pine plantations lies Nimtek, as a reminder of what the forests in the region once looked like. Here you find centuries-old pine and spruce which for hundreds of years have been disturbed only by the occasional natural forest fire. The area is 45 square kilometres in size.

Communicatie
Nimtek lies about 25 kilometres east of Arjeplog, on the border with Arvidsjaur Municipality. From road 95, about 18 kilometres south of Arjeplog, turn eastwards on to a logging road. After Alvik you turn northwards on to another logging road which takes you as far as the north-western part of the reserve.

Nimtek is located about 25 kilometers east of Arjeplog. From road 95, about 18 kilometers south of Arjeplog, turn east on a forest road. After Alvik, turn north on another forest road that takes you to the northwestern part of the reserve.
Regelingen
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- hike
- camping
- make a fire
- picking berries and edible mushrooms
- driving snowmobiles on well-snow-covered ground
- fishing and hunting in accordance with applicable laws
It is not allowed to harm plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
