Omschrijving
Laisdalen old growth mountain forest is a large reserve -100 km long, located on both sides of the Lais river. Here you encounter wild, magnificent montane forest slowly climbing to the bare mountain. In the middle of the area lies Delliknäs, a settlement built in 1892. Here you can gain insight into the arduous life of settlers in times past. The old growth mountain forest in Laisdalen Nature Reserve is 794 square kilometres in size. The King’s Trail and several other trails, including snowmobile trails, pass through Laisdalen.

Communicatie
The reserve lies about 38 kilometres northwest of Arjeplog on the Lais river as far up as Blassaselet. Several roads lead to the reserve.

- driving snowmobiles on well-snow-covered ground
- fishing and hunting in accordance with applicable laws
It is not allowed to harm plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
Laisdalen mountain primeval forest consists of several older nature reserves and domain reserves. The nature reserves have retained their regulations.
