Vinens fiskevårdsområde

The lake Vinen is situated on the border between Älmhult and Alvesta municipalities. Here you can find bass, ruffe, northern pike and roach among others.

The right of public access (allemansrätten) applies both on land and water but does not cover fishing. For fishing in Hängasjön you need a permit (fiskekort), which you can buy online through www.ifiske.se or at the tourist information office in the Älmhult municipal hall.

In some waters there are areas which are excluded from fishing, either temporary or permanently. Always make sure to look up what rules apply to the specific area you are interested in.
