Käskhultasjöns fiskevårdsområde

The lake Käskahultasjön is situated on the border between Älmhult and Ljungby municipalities. Here you can find bass, bream, ruffe, and roach among others. The fish conservation area also include the lakes Trollasjön and Pampasjön.

The right of public access (allemansrätten) applies both on land and water but does not cover fishing. For fishing in Hängasjön you need a permit (fiskekort), which you can buy online through www.ifiske.se or at the Tourist information office in the Älmhult Town hall.

In some waters there are areas which are excluded from fishing, either temporary or permanently. Always make sure to look up what rules apply to the specific area you are interested in.
