Hallaryd-Visseltofta fiskevårdsområde

This area stretches along the Helge Å, river, from Ryfors and on to the border between Hässleholm and Osby municipalities, about 20 km, at the Hästberga dam. This area consists of Lillån and parts of Helge Å (river), with the lakes Brokasjö, Norresjö, Svartsjö, Vitasjö and Kroksjön.

Here you have the possibility of flyfishing for trout. Please note the exception of the stretch at Hallarydsforsen where special rules apply. Grilling areas are situated at Kornberga and at Visseltofta sports field.

The right of public access (allemansrätten) applies both on land and water but does not cover fishing. For fishing in Hängasjön you need a permit (fiskekort), which you can buy online through www.ifiske.se or at the Tourist information in the Älmhult Town hall. 0476-550 00

In some waters there are areas which are excluded from fishing, either temporary or permanently. Always make sure to look up what rules apply to the specific area you are interested in.
