Skeppshultasjön med flera sjöars fiskevårdsområde

Skeppshultasjön borders Älmhult and Ljungby municipalities. Also the lakes Bökönasjön, Tornasjön and the Kråka canal are part of this conservation area. As is the distance in Helge å (river) between Möckeln and Svinaberga.

In this area you can find for example bass, birch, bream and ruffe.

The right of public access (allemansrätten) applies both on land and water but does not cover fishing. For fishing in Hängasjön you need a permit (fiskekort), which you can buy online through www.ifiske.se or at the Tourist information in the Älmhult Town hall. 0476-550 00

In some waters there are areas which are excluded from fishing, either temporary or permanently. Always make sure to look up what rules apply to the specific area you are interested in.
