Dammvallen i Sävsjöström

This watermill is located in an area with high cultural values. This used to be a so called bruksort with an ironwork. Before the ironwork were there other types of activity in the area that needed the hydropower. Today is the watermill only used for regulating the water levels in the lake and the river.

On this spot can you see a dairy building and an older forge. In the canal, a bit south of the forge, can you see a trap for eels.
