Skurugata, Naturreservat

Skurugata is one of the county's most dramatic nature reserves. Here you can both enjoy a fantastic view of the Eksjö area and walk through the dramatic scour (canyon) that gave Skurugata its name. The canyon is about a kilometer long and in some places the rock walls stretch 35 meters into the air. Down in the scura, it is cool and humid and a perfect climate for certain mosses that are rare at this latitude. Skurugata is a very popular destination and there is something for everyone, whatever your level of adventure.
