Konstverk Tetraeden

The three sculptures,
‘Klotet’ (The Sphere), ‘Tetraeden’ (The Tetrahedron) and ‘Kuben’ (The Cube), by
Pål Svensson are located at Borbackaskolan School in Bor. Pål Svensson himself
thinks that the second basic form, ‘Tetraeden’, which represents the triangle,
is the most fascinating; it is a dynamic form.

Working with
sculpture involves a delicate balancing act between the sculptor’s vision and
feedback from the stone. In Pål Svensson’s art, rather than compete these
principles express a balanced duality, two stones fitted into each other, two
twin organs with a ray of light in between.

On the quay in
Eriksberg, Gothenburg, you can see four artworks by Pål Svensson that are
reminiscent of the artworks in Bor. ‘Tetraeden’ was purchased by the Municipality
of Värnamo in 1997.
