Alandsrydsbacken i Borgen Outdoor

This is the slope in Värnamo that offers alpine skiing. There is a snow
cannon that ensures good snow conditions and a piste machine that ensures a
well-prepared piste. For those who are interested, there are opportunities for
jumping, slalom, ski cross, poles and rails. As soon as the slope is skiable,
we offer ski schools for groups and private lessons from age 5 and up.

Alandsrydsbacken is a ski slope within cycling distance of the centre of
Värnamo. There is a barbecue area and a heated cottage with a toilet.

Take your bike on the lift and ride downhill

When there is no snow on the slope, it can be used for downhill cycling,
and there is also a bike lift. The lift is only open occasionally, so keep an
eye on the Alandsrydsbacken’s Facebook page to see when it is running. In summer,
the area offers jogging trails and nice footpaths.

Go wakeboarding

Värnamo
Wake Park in Alandsryd is one of Sweden’s fastest wakeboard parks. The facility
is top class and can be described as a ski lift on water, electrically powered
and environmentally friendly. There are also unique jumps with different levels
of difficulty. Toilets and changing facilities are available.
