Omschrijving
On the steep slope, the old spruce forest is dense and lush. There are rough trunks covered with mosses and lichens. If you can make it up the slope, you will reach a drier part of the forest. Here are stately old pines, many with traces of old forest fires.

Routebeschrijving
Reservatet ligger ungefär en mil norr om Kälarne. Strax norr om Håsjö tar man av från väg 323, norrut mot Koviken. Efter Sicksjön svänger du åt öster för att komma till reservatet, som angränsar till skogsbilvägen.

Welcome to Vårkallhöjden. Please note that within the reserve it is not allowed to:
- camp
- make fires
- drive a motorized vehicle
- climbing trees or deliberately staying closer than 100 meters to a bird of prey's nest, lair or pot
- damaging the ground or vegetation, including dry trees and windfalls.
Other rules apply if you want to conduct any kind of activity in the area, see the relevant reserve decision for full regulations. There may also be other laws to take into account, such as the Reindeer Husbandry Act.
