Omschrijving
Het eiland is een mooi stukje natuur met oud graanbos vol met even indrukwekkende, ruwe as en verkopers. Het bos zinkt van het leven en een sound drum vortex die afbreekt het ochtendconcert van de zangvogels laat zien dat de hackspatten wakker is. In de kom van de aspen, de uil geneest die net ging rusten na de nachtzucht.

Routebeschrijving
The reserve is located one mile west of Krokom. From Östersund you drive E14 west and about three kilometers east of Ytterån there is a parking bay.

- capture, disturb or harm mammals, birds, frogs and reptiles, as well as damage their nests and spawning grounds or collect eggs,
- pick and collect species of any kind, except berries and edible mushrooms
- climbing nest trees or deliberately staying closer than 100 meters to a bird of prey's nest, lair or burrow
- damaging the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
- make fires, other than with firewood, and
- drive a motorized vehicle off-road
