From the west you enter the area via Stora Blåsjön and Ankarede. If you come from the east, the village of Borgafjäll is a suitable starting point. You can also reach the area from the south via Härbergsdalen. There is a road to all these places.

Welcome to Daimadalen. Please note that in the reserve it is not allowed to:

• climbing trees or deliberately staying closer than 100 meters to a bird of prey's nest, lair or pot
• damage the ground or vegetation, including dry trees and windfalls
• drive a motorized vehicle off-road. Certain exceptions for trails etc. are stated in the county administrative board's off-road traffic ordinance
• land with an aircraft without the county administrative board's permission.
