Het reservaat ligt 3,5 km ten noordoosten van Strömsund. Vanaf de E45, drie mijl ten noorden van Strömsund, gaan we naar het oosten richting Rossön. Een halve mijl voor Rossön gaat langs de noordelijke grens van het reservaat, een bord toont de weg naar de parkeerplaats.

Welcome to Bollsberget. Please note that within the reserve it is not allowed to:

• make fires except in specially designated places
• drive motorized vehicles off-road throughout the area
• climbing trees or rocks, or deliberately staying closer than 100 meters to a bird of prey's nest, lair or pot
• damaging the ground, boulders or vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
• pick and collect natural products (such as wood fungi, lichens and mosses) with the exception of berries and edible mushrooms
• carry out scientific studies without the permission of the County Administrative Board.
