Omschrijving
The reserve consists of the elongated mire complex Kvarnmyrorna and the forest south and north of this. The Kölån river, which is classified as a nationally particularly valuable water, flows right through the area. There are no paths or trails that pass through the area and much of the area consists of wet marshland. Kvarnmyrorna comprises a 215-hectare forest and mire mosaic and is located 20 kilometers northwest of Hassela in Nordanstig municipality, in northern Hälsingland. The reserve is close to other protected areas, just north of Gulliksberget nature reserve and the future Lockjärv nature reserve.
Kvarnmyrorna forms a complex of different types of sloping marshes. The bog is unaffected and old forest with high forest nature values grows on mainland islets and in bog edges. Several sub-areas consist of moist, shady stream environments, while other sub-areas consist of both pine and spruce-dominated natural forest with 200-300 year-old trees.
A large number of red-listed lichens and fungi have been found, including red-brown pale spike, small soot lichen, violet-gray thorn lichen and wrinkled skin, as well as the rare and endangered thread cartilage lichen found on spruces near the stream in the northern part of the area.

Routebeschrijving
Het natuurreservaat van de Kvarn Myrorna ligt ongeveer 19 kilometer ten noordwesten van Hassela.
Regelingen
In het natuurreservaat gelden speciale regels. Het is niet toegestaan:
- andere motorvoertuigen dan voor het verkeer van motorvoertuigen bestemde voertuigen uitvoeren Neem hout. Vuur is alleen toegestaan als uw eigen vuur is genomen
- Twijgen, vallen of anderszins schade toebrengen aan levende of dode staande of gevallen bomen en struiken
- schade, pick-of-collect planten, schimmels en korstmossen
- het nest beklimmen, in de buurt blijven van roofvogel, liegen of stoven, dieren verzamelen of anderszins de wilde dieren beschadigen of storen
- schilderen, plakken, affiches, tekenen of maken
- beschadiging van vaste voorwerpen of oppervlaktevorming, zoals heruitzetting of verwijdering van steen, graven, of Zonder de provincie bestuurlijk Bestuur, gebruik het gebied voor georganiseerde wedstrijden Gebruik het gebied van militaire oefeningen.
