On the farmhouse and culture tour it is easy to let your imagination

flow! In this inaccessible forest area lived

and worked many hard-working people. This is where

we get a glimpse of how 'Andreasa', 'Stine-Lises', the coal

and all the other fighters who worked hard for their

survival. Compare it to your own everyday life.

This trail passes through a beautiful forest area with several small

lakes and rivers. In many places there are traces of old crofts and cottages,

an earth hut and a reconstructed charcoal hut. This area was characterized by

forestry and there are traces of sawmills,

timber rafting and charcoal burning. If you pay close attention, you will notice several

coal beds along the trail, these are everywhere in Tiveden. In several places

there are information boards that guide the hiker through history.

Torp- och kulturrundan is located in the northern parts of Stora Fjället

and a large part of the trail goes outside the nature reserve. There is a

connection to Stora Fjälletrundan. You can reach the trail most easily by

parking at the entrance to Kroksjötorp, north of Granvik. This is not a

round you should rush through, take your time and do not forget to

pack the coffee basket. Why not take a break and rest at Björsjön, a former

"village lake" for the very old village of Höghult.
