STF Lydde Gård

Lård Gård is a hotel standard publishing house with a focus on sustainability. We are located in the middle of Tygriket, in the beautiful Häggådalen, between Borås and Varberg. Step into a familiar and cozy home that has received several awards for its building maintenance and environmental work.

The earliest mention of Lydde is from 1493, then known as Lyddaström. Activities have varied over time, from agriculture to publishing, dyeing, bricklaying and a 20th century sewing factory making shirts and blouses. When the Larson family took over in 2003, a careful and complete renovation began, where building maintenance, respect for the farm's history and sustainability were key. Today the comfortable and personal accommodation tells the history of the farm.

Lydde Gård has 39 beds between the its four residential buildings. The rooms are large, befitting of a publishing house, and you sleep in locally produced beds with organic sheets and pillows and organic wool blankets. Breakfast is included in your stay and features our home-baked bread, honey from your own hives and everything else with a focus on fairness and sustainability.

Lydde Gård is quietly located and surrounded by a large garden with fruit trees and flower beds. Lakes, nature and museums are nearby, and Marks golf course is just around the corner. The area offers rich nature experiences with opportunities hiking, bike adventures and a rich cultural offering in terms of crafts and history.
