Rörbosjön is located along the road between Skultuna and Västerfärnebo, about 4 kilometers southwest of Fläckebo church. From Skultuna drive north, past Svanå, and on towards Västerfärnebo. After about 15 kilometers you will arrive at Rörbosjön. There is space for several cars and a bus at the reserve's visitor center. You can also get to the area by following the road signs from Fläckebo towards Skultuna. After about 6 kilometers you arrive at Östringby and then have the reserve on your right.

There are rules that you as a visitor must follow. The rules are there to protect the area's natural values.

It is forbidden to:

• dig, chop, carve, paint or otherwise damage the surface of the ground or solid natural objects such as rocks and boulders,
• break branches, cut down or damage living or dead trees and bushes
• picking, damaging or digging up herbs, mushrooms, mosses, lichens or other plants, other than picking individual specimens of non-indigenous species. Berries and edible mushrooms may be picked for domestic use,
• collecting insects or other invertebrates, except for single specimens for species identification
• drive and park motorized vehicles other than on an existing road or parking lot,
• drive a motorboat or other motorized craft on Rörbosjön,
• camping or setting up a motor vehicle or caravan for longer than 24 hours,
• bring an unleashed dog.

In addition, it is forbidden without the permission of the County Administrative Board:

• put up a board, sign, poster or permanently mark a trail.
