Köping Karlberg - MTB Blå

Visit the Karlberg forest (which the locals
call ”Kabbe”) and bike the 5 km long single track. Mostly easily-biked blue
trail, but with a few technical parts of more red character. The largest part
offer a flat and fast tour. The trail is surrounded by varied nature, mostly deciduous forest, with around 20
different tree species.

There is parking and a start
portal with a map over the area. All three trails close to the city are
connected with each other through signed bike lanes. Besides nice MTB trails,
Köping has many cosy cafés perfect for ending the bike tour on, such as
Gammelgården’s summer café. Or why not the classic café Bivur, not only famous for
their ”fika” but also for hosting the recording of scenes from the movie Tårtgeneralen.
