Jättåsarna is located a few kilometers southwest of Fagersta and borders the Svartberget nature reserve. You get here via road 66 towards Ludvika. Just after the Oti crossroads, turn right towards Hedkärra. At the T-junction, turn right again towards Ridhuset and follow the road until you see a sign with Jättåsarnas Naturreservat. There is the parking lot.

There are rules that you as a visitor must follow. The rules are there to protect the area's natural values.

It is forbidden to:

• dig, hack, carve, paint or otherwise damage the surface of the ground or other fixed natural objects such as rocks and boulders,
• damage living or dead trees and shrubs and damage vegetation in general, for example by picking herbs, grasses, mosses, fungi or lichens, with the exception of berries and edible mushrooms for domestic use,
• bringing an unleashed dog
• collecting insects or other invertebrates
• putting up a board, sign, poster or permanently marking out tracks or similar.
