Brygga för kanotupptag ovanför slussen i Västanfors

Canoe dock above the lock in Västanfors. Keep right where the water divides. The left water leads to a power plant, keep a good distance from there. The right water is a canal leading to the lock in Västanfors. The dock for canoe pick-up is just to the right of the water divider. Pick up your canoe here and carry or roll it towards the bridge that goes over the canal. Cross the bridge to the right side of the canal and follow the canal down along a gravel road to Hamnkrogen where there is a launching jetty.

There are also service buildings here where you can borrow toilets and fill up with water. At Hembygdsgården there are restaurants and shops.
