Tomashällan

Tomashällan is a perfect destination if you don't want to go on a long expedition but still want a complete nature experience. There is a barbecue area and a large picnic table with benches. The hill itself is flat and relatively child-friendly, but parts of the plateau end in a steep but not very high cliff. Perfect for a little easier rock climbing for big kids but something to keep an eye on if there are smaller children on the excursion. Around the barbecue area, several trails extend further into the forest and around the immediate area.

A close and easy excursion destination with plenty of areas for the children to run around and good opportunities to enjoy a cup of outdoor coffee in the woods even though the city is no more than five minutes away.
