Holms gravfält

In both Holm and Björkå you can feel the wings of history by walking around among burial mounds that were built from the Migration Period to the Viking Age. The Björkå field is the largest mound field in Ångermanland with 50 preserved mounds, while Holm is considered to have the landscape's most monumental mound field with its 15 visible graves.

The environment around the mounds is very beautiful and there are information boards in place that tell more about the history behind the mounds. In the area it is also possible to follow paths down to the Ångermanälven river, around Holms säteri and up Holmsberget.
