Friluftsliv på recept - Dyket blå

The area around Lake Dövikssjön is a beautiful natural area with its proximity to water and the framing of high mountains. Dyket is popular as a swimming spot and exercise area. You can both park here and take the bus to the Dövikssjön Dyket stop. These routes are also easy to reach from Kvissleby via the footbridge over Ljungan. The description starts from the parking lot at Dyket. Start by turning away towards the tennis courts. The footpath continues along the southern edge of the lake. It is a quiet and nice walk with views of the lake and framed by the forest. Turn left on the second path after the lake. The path takes you out onto Juniskärsvägen. Keep left and follow the road until you can turn right onto Apelvägen. That road becomes a footpath that comes out again on Juniskärsvägen. Here you cross the road to the left and onto a small gravel road. At the turnaround keep left onto the path over the bridge. You then follow the path across the island to the next bridge and pass a nicely located barbecue area. The path comes out opposite the parking lot at Dyket.
