At the west entrance of the national park you will find information about the park, toilets (privys) and garbage bins. There are also benches and a fire place.
The west entrance is open during the whole year. Snow is cleared from the road and parking lot during in the winter. The trails are however not cleared from the snow. You might need skis or snowshoes since it is normally a lot of snow in the west side of the park due to the altitude.
