Vojmsjölandet

Vojmsjölandet Nature Reserve is a vast, roadless wilderness area located on the foothills plateau between the Vojmsjön and Malgomaj valleys.

In Vojmsjölandet and the adjacent Marsfjället Nature Reserve, it is possible to hike through roadless country for days. Most of Vojmsjölandet is a true wilderness area without any special facilities for outdoor recreation.

Most of the reserve is at least a few kilometers from the nearest road, except for the Måsjöberget sub-area in the northeast where there are several forest roads. On Måsjöberget there is a demonstration area within Vilhelmina Model Forest. A path leads visitors through the fire-affected forest and there is a prepared barbecue area.
