Södra Brånet

Södra Brånet is located close to the town, just 700 meters southeast of Vindeln. There are several paths that cross the reserve. One path runs from northwest to southeast and an old road, which is also used as a snowmobile trail, runs through the reserve from north to south.

Large spruces, aspens and birches grow in Södra Brånet. There are particularly many large aspens. There are often many herbs on the ground and hanging lichens grow on the spruces.

The nature reserve is most easily reached from the north via paths from the homestead area.
