In connection with the establishment of the inland railway, a locomotive shed with an extended brick water tower, a coal yard and other utility buildings were also built.

DESCRIPTION

Storuman's engine shed is located on the northwest side of the yard at the height of the northern yard end, about 140 meters from this. A 300 meter long connecting track to the turntable at the shed is from the yard at the southern part of the platform. Halfway to the turntable, the track branches out into two parallel tracks, each with a connection to the turntable. In the eastern one of these there is also a switch to a short branch track. The engine shed has six seats and a higher part of the building that probably housed staff quarters and a water reservoir on the east side.
