Låjtavare

The south-western slope is covered with old spruce forest. Here and there are fallen giants. In the far north, there are small areas of old, coarse and very tall spruce forest. In this forest, the ground is covered with tall herbs. The forest is otherwise clear-cut and more open. The area has one of the most timber-rich spruce forests that are protected in the mountainous area of Västerbotten County. The south-western part of the area consists of bog and some spruce swamp forest.
