Grundskatanstugan Björöklubb

The cottage is located in the southern part of the Bjuröklubb nature reserve directly adjacent to the sea. It is locked and you get access to the key after booking. During the bare ground period you can drive a car to the cottage.

The cottage is intended for temporary accommodation (1-2 nights).

Practical information

In the large room there is a bunk bed where the lower bunk is 120 cm wide and the upper bunk 90 cm. In the small room there is a bunk bed where both beds are 90 cm wide. There are also 2 extra mattresses. The cottage can accommodate 6-7 people.

Overnight stay in the cottage costs SEK 200 per person per night. Children 0-15 years stay for free. The fee is used for the maintenance of the cottage, equipment and firewood. Payment information is available in the cottage.

The cottage has a gas stove and wood stove in the kitchen and in the main room there is a fireplace. Simple retro kitchen equipment, mattresses, pillows and wool blankets. You can bring your own water or fetch it from the guest harbor in summer. Bring sheets or a sleeping bag. You as a visitor clean up after yourself, chop and carry in firewood from the storage room outside the cottage. Slush is emptied into the slush cone at the storage room.

Dogs are allowed in the cabin, but they must not lie on mattresses or blankets. Do not use kitchen equipment as a food bowl.

Tips for excursions

Bjuröklubb by the sea is well visited all year round. There are fine sand dunes around Grundskatan. Grundskatan is often used for birdwatching out to sea. Along the coastal strip north towards the lighthouse there are unusually large shingle fields and fine upland forests.
