Beskrivelse
The current huts and sheds in the Gausjosjön Sámi settlement were built by Sámi forced to move from Norrbotten in the 1930s. These North Sámi huts are built with a different construction than the original South Sámi huts. The North Sami hut is more spacious at the top and more rounded than the South Sami hut. The pieces of peat are laid horizontally instead of flat. 500 m to the east is Sotsbäckens viste with a South Sami hut.
