In the middle of the forest between Hole and Norra Skoga you will find Värmland's first and only moose park.

Join a guided moose tour, on foot, to meet the royalty of the Swedish forest, the mighty moose.

During the two-hour tour, you will learn a lot about moose as your guide tells the story of this gigantic and noble deer. You will learn how to spot them in the wild and how they fit into the ecological system here. The guide will explain their powerful physique and athletic ability. You will also learn why they are fearless warriors when called upon, these are truly tough animals in the Nordic forests. The bull is not called the King of the Forest for nothing, and the female is truly the Queen.

They get you up close and personal with our moose – no one in the world can get closer to live moose. You can touch and feed them here, and stand next to the king himself and touch his crown. The sound of a bull moose breathing as you stand next to him and look up into his eyes and crown is a powerful moment for many.

This is a unique tour experience that you should not miss when you are here in Värmland.

Note: Dogs are not allowed on tours with guests. Moose do not like dogs. There are no exceptions. Please leave your dogs at home or make sure you have the right equipment to keep them cool and safe when left in your vehicles. We cannot take care of dogs and do not offer this option.

As a visitor, you should remember not to stress the moose or be at the moose park when they do not have visiting hours. This is for the best interest of the moose.
