Uddeholms Herrgård

Mansion from 1823.

Uddeholms mansion, placed in Uddeholm next to Rådasjön, was built between 1814 to 1823. The mansion is the biggest in Värmland. Until 1912 the mansion was used as a office for the steelcompany Uddeholmsbolaget. It is only used for representation since 1952.

You can also find Norra Rådas old church from 1634 in the surrounding park, it was moved to Uddeholm mansion to be used as a warehouse. Since 1960 it is used as a chapel.

You can find a painting of Uddeholms mansion in Stockholm centralstation. The mansion is not open for visitors, but you can visit the park on your own during the whole year.
