Beautiful park area at Marieberg, Kristinehamn.

Marieberg is a parkland area that was established 1883. It is built by the former mental patients, nurses and gardeners. It is the home of many beautiful and unusual trees, particularly for these climates. The park is well worth a visit: enjoy the pond at the Kristina Palace, the inspirational garden with its pergola, the herbal garden and the buildings. Kristinehamn’s Art Museum is located on the grounds.
