Mattila

Mattila is located in the middle of the "Finnskogen" approx. 4 miles northwest of Torsby, near the border with Norway. The farm dates back to the middle of the 17th century. In Mattila today there are about 40 cabins, most of which can be rented. Here there is a restaurant, ski tracks, hiking trails and much more, in the middle of nature and culture. Here the stories still live today, it is a place that enriches both body and soul.

Mattila in the heart of the Finnish forest offers well-groomed ski tracks and hiking trails in fantastic nature! Snow and cold guarantee from 1 December to 15 April. Mattila is known for its well-prepared ski tracks for the whole family, ranging from 100 m to several miles, both in easy or tough terrain.
