The cozy neighborhood Vågen boasts some of Kristinehamn's oldest wooden houses. Here you will find Kristinehamn's historical museum and Bildarkivet, the unique shops; Retrovågen (a combined delicacy and retro shop), as well as the interior design store and Instagram sensation, Lev Vackert.

The neighborhood is known as Kristinehamn's art district. Galleri Vågen has exhibitions regularly. If you want something to eat you can visit Mastmagasinet with a view of Varnan and the city park.
